I had the pleasure of traveling with Alison to Bangkok last April. She was an absolute joy to travel with and so knowledgeable about other cultures! We will miss her so much.

I remember riding over to Schach's house in the tuktuk and we had been warned that we would get wet. Sure...ok. So then we turned a corner on a little Bangkok street, and this little girl had a hot pink bucket filled with water and threw it on Alison. She was shocked and said "well that was rude." I tried to hold back laughing but then someone on the other side of the street threw a bucket of water on me. We laughed so hard all the way over to Schach's and showed up at his door soaking wet.
