So very sorry to hear this. I met Lonnie when I moved to the St. Louis area in January of our second grade year. I had a little crush on him at eight years of age because he was so smart and so principled... even then. I was thrilled when I beat him in a math run-off once. Then there’s the strangely dear memory of watching him stay cool and silent while being scolded for something ANOTHER classmate did. He didn’t snitch. My love to you. May you weather this with grace, love and beautiful memories.
