Thank you for allowing and encouraging my creative expression through art, music and dance. You knew early on that I wouldn't let anyone box me in! Thank you for always having my back. Thank you for aggressively advocating for my education.

You were a master ideator, workshop designer, event planner, and strategist. You had more energy in your later years than many of your students.

You were not afraid of or intimidated by young people from any background or generation- pouring into them and helping them prepare for life after high school from the 1980s until 2019!

You were the perfect mom for me! I hold you in my heart.
