Thanks for this opportunity to publicly thank Paul William (Bill) Smart for the two greatest gifts of my life: our daughters, Anita Smart and Silvia Smart.
After our divorce, we were able to parent Anita and Silvia together and later continued to maintain a congenial relationship. Over the past few weeks, we have spoken by phone and shared some memories of friends and times together while in Brazil.
The accompanying photo was taken upon our return from our five years there when we were frequently asked to talk about our work. Anita and Silvia are showing you on the map where we lived.
