We have known Bill since the mid 1990s as neighbors in Washington, DC. We recall fondly the many dinners we enjoyed with both Bill and Diane, sharing travel and adventure stories over meatless dinners and many glasses of wine. (On occasion, we would slip Bill a real piece of meat.) With Bill we also shared an appreciation of art and architecture. He had an amazing knack for remembering names, dates, and details. Bill was a people person with a boundless enthusiasm for life. Bill, we will miss you.
