Murray has long been a treasured member of our family. At first, we were simply delighted that he and Joanna were so happy together, but we soon realized that Murray was himself a brilliant, fascinating, caring man who had led an amazingly interesting life. It was a treat to spend time with him and hear his stories of experiences around the world.

My husband Al and I traveled with Joanna and Murray to places as diverse as Stockholm, South Africa, and Wyoming, and he was always a most agreeable travel companion. The photo of Al, Joanna, and Murray was taken on one of those trips.

We also visited frequently back and forth, and Murray was a big part of our family activities over the years. The second photo shows him at my daughter Anne’s wedding. He was a family favorite for sure, and we will miss him greatly. But how fortunate we are to have known him.
