It was my immense pleasure to work with Glenn during his visits to San Nic between 2009 and 2017. He was a great naturalist, colleague, mentor and friend. His good nature, wit, and gentle presence will be sorely missed.

And, that is one of my favorite memories on the Island - you heading out to catch lobsters and bringing one back to me especially, knowing that I had never had one but not knowing that I didn't like seafood. I leaned over to Glenn to confess that horrible sin, not wanting to hurt your feelings, and he said it will be like chewy butter. Lo and behold, because you kept getting me those damn lobsters, I developed a taste for them and now enjoy them on special occasions. Thank you! less
