Where do I even begin? I worked for Steve for 13 years, the last 7 of which we worked together on a day-to-day basis. Steve was my boss, my mentor, my friend and my cheerleader. He gave me the professional opportunity of a lifetime by challenging me every single day to accomplish goals I didn't think possible and if I resisted, he pushed harder which always led to my own success. He was an amazing leader, visionary and eternal optimist and I will be forever grateful to him for inviting me to be part of the diverse enterprise he built. Steve invested in those around him and we are all better because of his influence and guidance. I will miss him terribly. My deepest condolences to Shannon and the entire Sorensen family.
