Mom gave us a great gift toward the end of her life. It's no fun going into a person's home who you love and cherish to sort through their stuff. She managed to rid herself of all kinds of material possessions. I took this picture of a few things that she held on to in her office. The photos taped to her wall here came from her refrigerator. The few items she held on to could easily be fit into a few boxes. A blessing in my grief to be sure.

Thank you for sharing it and giving a visual of your Mom's loves and heart. It made me smile and the tears flow. And, then, the tears burst when I noticed the green clay beaded necklace.....I made that for your mom when I was in Dillon.....so very many years ago.....that she still had it after all the time and travels......well, it just fills my heart.
