The entire Diocese joined others on the global world to sympathize and register our condolence for the demise of your father, Ven. SO. Foye.
May the Lord console the family and give them the grace to bear the irreplaceable lost.
Ven. Samuel O. Foye has contributed immensely to the Diocese of Jebba in many ways. His family had single handedly built a church (St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Egberimo) which is now a seat of Archdeaconry. He donated his personal house and business to the Diocese of Jebba after his retirement.
He was one of those contributed to the creation of Jebba Diocese. He served the church selflessly and contributed to the church sacrificially. Adieu your work is speaking after you have let this sinful world, rest on Ven. S.O. Foye. St Paul’s Anglican Church will never forget you. Diocese of Jebba will not forget your labour of faith. Till we met where we depart no more, good night.
