My dad embraced personal computers in the eighties (seen here with his Macintosh SE/30 circa 1989), back when CompuServe was the place to be and AOL was just emerging. I feel quite fortunate we had the means and grateful that my dad shared his interest with me, getting me a Mac when I returned from Peace Corps service and teaching me the basics. Being ahead of the curve opened a lot of doors for me. I credit my dad for sparking my interest in computers, information management, and emerging technologies.
