Both Geoff and I have always enjoyed our music. His passion and musical tastes, however, have always been much more diverse than mine. How does one reconcile to the fact that the son was teaching the father (rather than vice versa). Over time he widened my musical tastes so much! Some of my favorite artists now (just to name a few) include REM, Pat Dailey, Blues Traveler, Doc Watson, David Grisman, Leftover Salmon, String Cheese, Peter Rowan, Grateful Dead and Guy Clark. I am so thankful for being able to listen to some of “his” music for 25 - 30 years. Geoff was a free spirit that enjoyed all types of music and I’m so greatful having been able to share this with him. Thank you my son!
