Grandma, we went to church together in Ilorin. It was always me and you. I looked forward to every Sunday. You bought me prayer books, rosaries and jewellery. When I went visiting in Lagos, you would cook for me and come to check in to see if I was ok. I remember when Neema was crying while I was cooking, even though your arms and your back were hurting, you stood there and carried her until I was done. Thank you.
Even when we fight, you’ll come and tell me my beans is in the fridge. Apart from David’s indomie and eggs, yours is the best. Thank you for always cooking for me.
