This photo is from Diwali 2017 in Jaipur, India. Not pictured, hours of us trying to find the best and most auspicious bangle combos in the city and trying to decide how much hena is too much (answer, there is not “too much”). I’ll miss our world...  more

    Mark, Joan, and family,
I met Alison in 2015 when I went to HQ. I admired her knowledge, her professionalism, her positive can do attitude, and her ability to think outside the box, adding value where ever she went. She will be missed.

Mark and Joan and all of Alison’s family and friends, I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss. I found this photo of us from 2008 when we laid wreaths at Arlington. She was kind, generous, and brilliant. We were all better for knowing her.

On our girl trip to Asia in 2015, our hotel in Laos was SO PROUD to show us to our room...which they had decked out as the honeymoon suite. We laughed about this for the rest of the trip. Alison, I'd still snuggle with you any time. I miss you. ❤
