Belinda Simon (née Jimboy) passed from this life to eternal life on August 4, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 39. Belinda is survived by her husband, Donnie Simon; her three children, Jasmine, Daniel, and Dontrel Simon; mother, Doris Jimboy; six siblings, LeAnna Hernandez (Jorge), Melissa Jimboy (Andrew), Richard Jimboy, Jr., Jeffrey Jimboy, Nathan Jimboy, and Holly Jimboy; Her in-laws; Father-in-law, Donald ‘Paul’ Simon (Mary); Mother-in-law, Veronica Jason (David Jason); brothers and sisters in law Ranchell Braham (Garreth), Ronnie Simon, Clarence Fontenot (Rachael), Jason Simon, Katrina Simon, Renika Simon, Shena Simon, Leon Fontenot, Provis Simon (Naomi) , and Lana Simon; godchildren, Nayeli Hawkins and Xavian Hawkins; god-brother and god-sister, Bobby and Martha Samora and their children Elijah and Israel; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Jimboy. Belinda was born on October 28, 1980 to Richard and Doris Jimboy. She attended Guthrie Job Corps Center. Belinda gave her life to Christ in May of 2001. She married Donnie Simon on October 10, 2001. While she worked for a time, mainly she was a homemaker. Over time, the couple welcomed three children. Her children remember her as a kind and godly mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals and God’s will for their lives. Belinda was accomplished at serving others and often helped her family and friends. She was a generous and dedicated individual who loved others and who was passionate about her family and her ministries. She was an active and dedicated member of the The Door Christian Fellowship Church. Belinda and her husband were leaders of Rejuvenation Teen Ministry and serving as the nursery leader was one of her greatest honors. She loved traveling, sightseeing, and making crazy videos with her kids. She found great joy playing pranks on others as well as listening to music, especially Christian rap. Belinda was loving and caring and would listen to others and offer Godly advice when needed. She loved her sisters in Christ. Belinda’s earthly remains will be laid to rest in Holdenville, Oklahoma, but her soul is now and forever in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
