What I remember most about Brook during the short while we worked together at Ashland Natural Medicine is the sparkle in his eye when he spoke about his wife and son. He seemed so content and happy having you in his life.

During the evening I was skeptical about his skiing ability since having a few ski dates that became slow motion outcomes. After several shout outs to friends....Wally (Steve), etc. finally he spotted and yelled...."Hey Brook"! Here came this cute blond pony tailed kid....as sweet and nice as anything.....and yes.... he convinced me to not worry as Ed Puikunas was indeed an excellent skier.....I could take his word for it! Not long after we would see Brook in town and even when I was with girlfriends at Standing Stone he made a point of saying Hi with a big hug and asking how Ed was.......then I had the amazing privilege to meet his amazing Mom Dana when skiing. She just beamed riding the lift talking about Brooks amazing wedding and travels. I realize now he was really one of those unique souls who cross your path in this life that magically touches everyone of us........a special Angel sent to touch so many.....if not for him I would not have my amazing husband Ed in my life!
Our hearts break for you all. The waves of sorrow without him will be overwhelming and with time.....a long time....be less, but the memories and joy of him will always be with all of us! Hugs and Love to your family! Lea Ann & Ed 💗 less

Brook always had the sweetest light around him, a sincere smile, a gentle soul. He will be very missed and never forgotten. I know Hudson was there to greet him on his next adventure on the otherside as he cared very much for him. I feell so much for all of you, his beautiful wife and child, his parents, family and friends. Departure is not an easy journey, but may we remember and trust the that no one ever dies they only transform. Prayers and virtual hugs and much love I send to all of you. This idea came to me while doing Qi Gong about offering a challenge which would be very healing to all in honor of Brook. That challenge is for a 30 day Qi Gong practice, it only need be 10 to 30 mintues a day. Wtch Brooks own video and you can find many to follow on You tube. The whole art is actually such a reflection of Brooks spirit, no wonder he loved it. And please post a photo of you doing Qi Gong and any photos of you have of Brook, as I know I was glued to photos for months after Hudson departed. Also please share if you have any dreams or messages or feelings that Brook is giving you a sign, as these are very real I believe, but many people are just get afraid to share. With love to all. About 15 years ago I was introduced to Brook and your family. You have always been my favorite family since the day I met you all. You brought me in right away and it felt like I was home. So giving and trusting. Brook is one of the nicest friends we’ve ever had and we are very honored to have been a part of his life. Honestly can’t think of one bad bone in his entire body. He was pure, so welcoming and loved sharing his love. Being his friend has made me a better person. His heart is in each and every one of us that has been touched by him. He will never be forgotten. We were all gathered at his Grandmothers in Los Gatos and I’ll never forget Brook teaching himself how to ride a bike. That’s right teaching himself. He didn’t need adults coaching or coaxing him along. I’ve never seen seen such absolute determination in a kids face. He just kept trying and trying until he mastered it. He carried that trait throughout his wonderful life. less

We have watched the family grow, and our kids played together at gatherings when they were all knee high to a pump handle. We have always marveled at what a fine and handsome young man Brook had grown into. Over the years we would have the Banana and Chiquita Soccer reunions every 5 years, Brook would play soccer with us as a boy. At first he would tag along as he was learning to kick a ball. Then as an older teen he became competitive with the older players. And during the last few tournaments, he had blossomed into a stallion running up and down the soccer pitch as us winded older players appreciated his good natured grace and youthful strength. Visiting with him at the last reunion, July 2019, we were so impressed with how Brook had grown into such a fine young man starting his new family. Our hearts break for his passing all too soon. We are so blessed to be a small part of his life. Mary and Mark Morrisette less
