Calum Smith lived life to the fullest. He was a true friend to so many. His humor, compassion, authenticity, and outlook on life made him an incredibly special person. Calum had a big heart with a soul full of kindness for other people. The depth of his love to others was limitless. He was known to raise the voice to the voiceless and support all unconditionally. Calum was extremely adventurous and never backed down from a challenge whether it was hiking the Kokoda Trail or scuba diving to the greatest depths, his passion for life was contagious. Whilst brave and courageous, Calum was also authentically vulnerable, which is why he connected deeply with so many people.
Airswift was lucky enough to hire him after graduating from the University of Manchester. He was a valued member of the Airswift Team for nearly 12 years and his influence within the company was nothing short of profound. He worked everywhere from Manchester to Brisbane, to Papua New Guinea, to Houston to Singapore. He will be greatly missed and it is our privilege to have known him.
Calum is survived by his parents, James and Patricia Smith, his brother, Dominic Smith, and his sister, Ashton Smith.
