Calvin L Noggle, Jr, 70, passed away at his home February 16, 2020.  He was born February 14, 1950, in Madison WI, the son of Calvin L. Sr and Dolores E (Henderson) Noggle.

Cal graduated from Madison East High School.  Following high school, he served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam during the Vietnam War as a Recon Sergeant.  After his time in the war, he went on to complete his certificate in auto mechanics.  He worked as a mechanic until 1983 and then went on to work for the WI DNR until 2000.  Then he worked as a custodian at UW Madison until retirement.

Cal (who was known as Pudge to many) made an impression on everyone he met.  He always had stories to tell or a joke or a memory.  He enjoyed painting, dancing, and hunting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary R. Noggle and Gregory C. Noggle.  He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Darlene Noggle and Cathy Gilligan; nieces and nephew Jennifer (John) Cook, Stephanie (Matt) Hafermann, Kristine Jaeke and Andrew Noggle; six great nephews; and his former wife and dear friend, Susan Stucki.

A service with full military honors will be held on April 24, 2020 at 1:00 at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
