It is with a heavy heart that we let you know that Carol Koppelmann passed away October 17th in her home in Tacoma, Washington. Carol was born in Traverse City, Michigan in 1937 to Hilda and Kenneth Kuck, and was the 4th of six children. She attended high school at Redford High in Detroit before heading west to Los Angeles where she met Roger and began her married life. Together they raised two children, Susan and Michael, and lived in Michigan, Kansas and Washington State. Carol was fearless, resilient, generous and tough and had a passion for political causes, supporting youth issues, her career in antiques, and her family and her dog Seamus.
Carol is proceeded in death by her husband Roger Koppelmann and is survived by her daughter Susan and son Michael, their spouses Bill and Deb, her grandchildren Aaron and spouse Annie, James and Lauren, and her five brothers and sisters Marion, Marlene, Doraine, Nancy and Bob. She is currently asking Roger to clean up the large mess he has made in his kitchen in heaven.
