Carol (Lonczinski) Lawrence passed away on Saturday, December 5, at the age of 80. Carol was born August 20, 1940, to Stella (Plachta) and John Lonczinski in Hamtramck, Michigan. She graduated from Our Lady of Mercy High School in 1958 and attended Michigan State University. On September 19, 1964, she married Jim Lawrence, who preceded her in death in 2018. In 1985, Carol and Jim moved with their three children from Michigan to Fountain Hills, Arizona. Carol had a passion for life and a great love for God and her family. Her favorite pastimes included attending concerts, plays, and sporting events of her grandchildren, and making cherished photo gifts and scrapbooks of memories for her family and friends. She loved her family so much that her dream trip was a cruise with all her kids and grandkids for hers and Jim's 50th wedding anniversary. Even though she and Jim got sick and ended up being quarantined for most of the trip, she loved how much fun the family had together with each other. She also loved celebrating every great milestone that her grandkids accomplished, and she enjoyed every family tradition and celebration that she got to share with them. She was everyone's #1 fan at every performance and game she came to, and she will forever be missed in the audience and the stands. She is survived by her six children (she claimed all inlaws as her own!) Kelly Frieders (Ray), Scott Lawrence (Debra), and Craig Lawrence (Monique) and her ten grandchildren, Sean Lawrence (Mariah), Ally Frieders, Drew Frieders, Carly Frieders, Brady Lawrence, Brenden Lawrence, Joshua Lawrence, Gabrielle Lawrence, and Hayden Lawrence, and her furry family Danny, Mia, Chandler, and Vader. Her ashes were interned at Christ's Church of Fountain Hills along with her beloved husband, Jim. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol's memory can be made to MoezArt Productions Youth and Community Theater. https://www.moezartproductions.org/donate-2/
