Christina was a beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She leaves behind one daughter, Ms. Efi Antypas , one grandson Mr. Andrew Borden (her biggest fan), one sister, Mrs. Margo Pangalos as well as her niece Ms. Helene Pangalos, and nephew Mr. Blaise Pangalos and his wife Ms. Kim Pangalos. Christina's second daughter, Georgette Borden, predeceased her.
Born in Cleveland Ohio, and raised in Greece until high school, she was a graduate of The Ohio State University. After Ohio State, Christina married Dr. Andrew Antypas and raised two daughters in the greater New York City area while building her own career in Medical Records. Christina retired in 1999 from New York University as the head of medical records. She was also part of the initial committee that instituted personal medical record security, known today as HIPAA.
Most notably however, Christina was known for her kindness. From her early days in the village of Zevgolateio, Greece, through her final days, she had an affinity for making people feel heard and warm. Always curious about the world and people she met, she lived a full life and enjoyed gardening, knitting and cooking.
