Mass at 10:30 with a reception immediately following at the church. The family will briefly attend internment at Calvary Cemetery and return back to the reception at the church.
Those wishing to attend the reception only are welcome. We anticipate starting at Noon.
If you have not been vaccinated for COVID, we respectfully request that you remain masked at all times.
For those who would like to attend the Catholic Vigil for Colette, please join us at 6 p.m. at the church on 2/21. The primary service remains still at 10:30 on 2/22 but a short vigil occurs on Monday night.

Colette Garrison born May 19, 1933 and passed away on January 31, 2022 from Covid-related pneumonia. She lived most of her life in the Sacramento area where she raised four children with her husband, Lowell Garrison, whom she married in July 1954. She lived most of her life in the Sacramento area where she raised four children with her husband, Lowell Garrison, whom she married in July 1954. Born and raised in San Francisco, Colette graduated high school from the Convent of the Sacred Heart and matriculated to UC Berkeley where she obtained a degree in English in 1954. Later in life when her children were in school, she attended UC Davis and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Arts
Colette contributed to the growth of the Sacramento Arts community by co-founding Jennifer Pauls Gallery in Old Sacramento in 1970. She also worked as an interior designer and founded Blue Ribbon Stables, a prominent horse farm training dressage horses and teaching the sport of vaulting to children.
She joined her children’s participation in the Boy Scouts, the Girl Scouts, 4-H, and the American Vaulting Association. She was active in the Sacramento Horsemen’s Association. Later in life, she was very active in her church, Holy Family Parish in Citrus Heights, as well as St. Vincent de Paul and the Women’s Council.
Colette and Lowell raised four children: Barrett Garrison (deceased), Mark Garrison, Nicole Eastly and Jennifer Harrison. Grandchildren include: Nick Garrison, Matt Garrison, Alex Eastly, Jonathan Eastly, Nicole Baroody, Christopher Garrison, Elliott Harrison, Julianne Harrison (deceased), Beth Harrison, Michael Hoffman, and Jonathan Hoffman. Great grandchildren include: Connor Garrison, Grant Garrison, and Barrett Baroody.
Mass and funeral services will be held at Holy Family Parish (7817 Old Auburn Road, Citrus Heights CA 95610 ) on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. with a reception immediately to follow at the church. (IMPORTANT NOTE: Please check back to confirm this time as there are still several details in process as of this writing.)
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to homeless shelters and support services, animal shelters, or the Alzheimer’s Association.
