Since birth Courtney has been one of the strongest people in the world.
She was born with a hole in her heart and later developed scoliosis. Courtney never gave up, she kept going and pushing through the pain.
A few years after giving birth to her youngest, Sasha, Courtney was diagnosed with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension.
Courtney kept fighting, through all the medicine, all the hospital stays, everything. She tried her best to be there for her family.
She had many passions in life, including her family, playing video games with friends, and make-up.
Courtney loved everything makeup, following trends, trying new things and even if she had nowhere to go, she would spend time learning new techniques and testing all sorts of products.
Spending time with her children was also very important to her, doing art projects, playing card/board games, and watching movies together really made her day.
Overall Courtney was loved and will always be loved. She was one of the best people you could ever meet. Doctors and nurses through our journey with this illness all remarked on how much Courtney was a pleasure to be around.
Please feel free to write or post any pictures you have of Courtney here.

To Anna, Thank you for inviting me to be a part of Courtney's celebration of Life.
The service was beautiful. I loved all the pictures, and all the tributes to her. Courtney was a beautiful person! Because of Jesus, you will see Courtney again. Praying for you and your family. I'm so glad I got to meet her, through you. I love you, Anna less

I will treasure the memories that I have of her, though my favourite is the trip she took to visit me in Canada. I remember driving down to the border to pick her up, and showing her one small part of my country. We drank wine, ate sushi, and laughed a lot. The highlight was visiting the kangaroo farm, where we fed lazy kangaroos, talked to very loud birds, and cuddled with adorable joeys swaddled in blankets like babies. Courtney, I will always cherish the time we spent together. I love you and miss you. less

They put me up by Anna's head but there was a board up to prevent Anna from seeing the operating area but I asked if I could stand up they said okay if I thought I could handle it. So I stood up and got to see the doctor bring Courtney up out of the womb.
I also took Courtney up for her first surgery to close the hole in her heart that she was born with and found out that she actually had three holes! On a happier note I got to see Courtney when she played Ana Frank in the senior play of "The Diary of Ann Frank" After Anna moved to Moses Lakes, I didn't see Courtney very much but my family there were never out of my mind and heart. less
