Private service was held on Saturday, May 30th, at 11 AM at Knollcrest Funeral Home 1500 S. Meyers. Rd, Lombard, IL 60148 (3 blks. S. of Roosevelt). Interment private. Dale was cremated, so his family will scatter the ashes along Siesta Key in the Gulf of Mexico, as he so desired. Memorials to American Cancer Society, 1801 S. Meyers Rd. Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181, are appreciated. Dale had a rare, aggressive lung cancer that is experienced by only 4-5% (non-smokers!) that has no cure, which is why we would like donations to go to the American Cancer Society, so they can find a cure for this horrible disease.
