I did not know Daniel that well - I worked in the same place for some time, but his good nature and sharp intellect did not require a long time to recognize and appreciate. RIP.
I've known Dani for so long that neither of us remembered when exactly we started working together, over 37 years ago. Daniel had many interests, we shared some of them and we had great conversations about books, food and music.

I know Daniel for 20 years - it's hard for me to write in past tense about him.

He had a special sense of humor with a touch of sarcasm but no cynicism.

In my last visit to the states we had lunch at the Littleton cafeteria and Dani told me he lived around 22 years in Russia. around 22 years in Israel and it was getting to 22 years in the US - he said he has to find the next place to move to.
I will miss my friend Daniel less
Daniel was one of the brightest and good natured kids in our high school class, a very good friend. It was a real luck to meet him at Guardium after more than thirty years break. Rest in peace, you'll be greatly missed.
