The memorial organizer requested donations in honor of Debra Ruppe
FUNDS WILL BE USED FOR
Funeral Expenses.
This would help pay for cremation expenses and go towards funding a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date once the COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted.
I created a GatheringUs memorial to celebrate the life of my mother, Debra Ruppe.
Collecting your stories and memories here will offer great comfort.
As I plan virtual gatherings and a Celebration of Life, I'll post invites. Thank you for contributing to this lasting memorial.

OBITUARY
There was nothing average or typical about my mom. She was truly one of a kind.
I haven't been able to bring myself to sit down and write a proper obituary or eulogy quite yet.
She was a "give the shirt off her back" type of person. Her kindness, warmth, and humor will be sorely missed.

I had always wanted a sibling - and I hit the jackpot with you! I remember the first night meeting you and Tricia in Janesville. It was like we'd known each other forever! You were so beautiful when you laughed - you'd light up a room! You had a hard life, but always were able to provide for you and Tricia. Your strength and determination was matched by no one! Bobby was always there for you, and I'm eternally grateful for the true friend you had in him! I remember your surprise 50th birthday party.. the smokes in our garage with Jeff, sleepovers at our house. Remember, I taught you to eat brownies with a can of frosting by your plate-! I remember a couple mornings when we were supposed to deliver early and you told me to be at your place by 12:30am so we "wouldn't be late." - LOL! I got there and you were still in your pj's having your first coffee and smoke! You told me to go hook up and fuel up and come back. When I came back, you were still in your pj's with your (3rd?) coffee and smoke. But once you got in that truck, you lit up! You took control, thoroughly enjoyed driving and were a pro! Once you were no longer driving, your passion turned to your horses. I'm so thankful you had them as long as you did... but it broke my heart when you had to give them up. Through thick or thin, your shining star was always Tricia Rose! She was your greatest "accomplishment" - your dearest love. She will carry on your memory, as we will in our hearts! Oh sweet Deb... so many people loved you and will miss you - but your seester is near the top of that list! Love you... your seester, Tricia's Auntie Juanita less

Deb became my rock who helped me through a extremely difficult time in my life. She first was my son’s best friend’s mother who cared for our animals when we were away from home. She loved being at the house and would fly her kite in the “big square” as we called it. Then became so much more. I wish I didn’t have to sell that house and move away now more than ever. I’ll miss you Deb. I’m sure Suhli was there to greet you with tail wagging. Until we meet again my friend. I hope you know how much you meant to me and my family and how much I admired you for your courage, your strength, your love for all critters. Thanks lfor your friendship. 💙 less

I think she and Gary were the only ones! She rigged that chicken door for me so I wouldn’t have to go in the coop until they were safely outside. Sooo grateful for that act of kindness!

She cried at the pasture when she found out about your husband and talkes so highly about how you two were the most inspirational couple she'd ever met. She surprised me one day i got there andvshe said hey i have a present for you. Then proceeded to give me your one footed rooster Fred...lol she was shocked that he let me hold him and he would play with me in the yard at the garage. I have pictures...lol they would cus each other out. It was hilarious.. less

Wow thank you for letting me know what Deb had said about Gary and I! That means so much to me you have no idea. So you were the one that got Fred! I'm glad he ended up with someone that liked him as much as Gary did. Thank you!

It had to be 1230 at night we had headlamps on and the batteries were dying lol. We laughed so hard at how fast we got it done and how soaked we were after it all tried to blow away in the wind. The things that woman did for her horses. I had fun helping her even if it was always in the middle of the night lol less
