OBITUARY
Debria Kay Dieu departed this life on the night of August 16th, 2020. She loves her husband Maurice and was constantly caring for him and the needs of others with every moment of this life. Debria Kay Dieu departed this life on the night of August 16th, 2020. She loves her husband Maurice and was constantly caring for him and the needs of others with every moment of this life. She was the mother to more than just her seven kids and 21 grand kids. She was a second mother to our beloved “baby sitting kids”. Mom provided so much joy and light to others. She sacrificed so many things for her family, friends, and at times complete strangers. "Debbie Dieu" could strike up a conversation with anyone anywhere anytime. She was so observant of the needs of others and would quietly provide even when she had little to give, “see a need, fill a need, without a blow by blow”. She was a no fuss kinda gal that established a home of acceptance for all and a meal for any. From haircuts to hemming, cha cha cha’s to cheer skirts, and anything else having to do with helping others, we invite you to share your thoughts and memories of our beloved angel mother.

Debbie was one of the first people in my life to teach me about never giving away your power to others' opinions. I still think of her often, which prompted me to search and find this page. I’m so sad for those who will never get the opportunity to whiteness her ability to love all walks of life; however, I rejoice knowing that all who did come in contact with her knew that she was a force for love and light. I know her family was her shining glory, and she shared her stories of her love for every one of her children and husband with me many times. What a powerful gift she was to so many. I will truly miss her and her glorious smile. less
