She not only was my wife but also was my friend, soulmate, and laughing partner. We met in North Hills, California introduced by a mutual friend on October 31, 1998 and for me it was love at first sight. She won my heart immediately when after a few days of seeing each other she drew the scales of justice on the side of my tennis shoes in a most realistic 3d image with a simple black bic pen. I would soon find out that she was a very talented graphic artist. On December 25, 1998 I took 2 dozen long stem roses and the biggest white teddy bear I could find and proposed to her. Several days earlier I ask her father Marvin if I could marry her. He replied that was up to her that she was over 21 which I took as his blessing. She said YES. On March 17, 2005 we were married in Beverly Hills, California 92211. The time and place intentionally chosen by us to make it memorable. Even in the darkest of times we have chosen to remain together and rarely have we been apart except for a few hours each day during the last 22 years and we were able to make each other laugh every day. Diane is survived by five beautiful children and 11 grandchildren who she loved with all her heart and then some. There was absolutely nothing she would not have done for her children and grandchildren if she had the means and she was ferocious in their defense. All of her children possessed the same natural beauty of their mother and I expect the grandchildren also. Jennifer Sullo born November 8, 1979, Melissa Ali born October 24, 1984, Valerie Sullo born June 19, 1989, Kimberly Thun born April 27, 1994, Justin Thun born April 7, 1995. The grandchildren include Kaila Jade 11/1/2002, Chole Marie 10/20/2008, Alexis Nicole 8/8/2010, Violet Sophia 8/18/2010, Axel James 10/22/2012, Jaxson 2/13/2015, Leah Michele 3/5/2016, Keira Elizabeth 3/12/2016, Laila N 2/8/2018, Armani Carlito 11/27/2018, and Noella Samara in the oven. Every single person whose path crossed this amazing person was enriched by Diane. We all will miss her. I know I have a new guardian angel looking over me. One of her favorite sayings tells you all you need to know about Diane: “Everything is Magical when you see it with your Heart”.
