Your death has done a deadly blow on the entire Agila community and the medical profession and the pain caused is severely excruciating! One situation that made me truly speechless, loss control, deeply depressed and weep profusely. Your zest, vivacity, conviviality, humility and camaraderie were topnotch. Your counsel to me after my internship has helped me a great deal. I remember when you, a Senior Registrar (A very senior Doctor), would take me (an ordinary, "bloody medical student") out for a lunch on many occasions, all for the love of Agilan brotherhood, encouraging me to do my best. "Ozokwu" and "Ãi'yēnē" were your usual Agilan remarks on spotting me among non-Agilan colleagues, even in the library. Your love for "knife-on-skin" in a bid to help humanity was passionately demonstrated, through which you now paid the supreme sacrifice as a Martyr of the Medical Profession. Chief Esa Oga, your death was pathetic, a rude shock and took all of us unaware, which makes us think that it's untimely but God was aware and only He knows why! You'll be sorely missed and your good memories will remain evergreen in our hearts, Sir. Rest well with your Maker, Dr Esa Oga! less
I feel totally heart broken writing a condolence Esa. This was not the plan. But I am consoled that when the trumpet of God shall sound, we would reunite in God's kingdom where there's no pain or sorrow. May the Holy Spirit comfort your lovely wife and kids.

Esa Ochapa Oga, Ugesco la-la ❗It is shocking, it puts the absolute fear of God in me and it drives in the mystery of God down deeper in me, but your warm and vivacious persona lives on in our hearts. Amiable Ugesco, rest peaceful in the bosom of our LORD
You were full of life and activity. You heeded a call and unfortunately died while fulfilling a call to save a life. You are indeed a good example of what a doctor should be. God bless your soul and grant you eternal rest. You will be fondly remembered.

For whatever reason, your untimely death touched me so deeply. Maybe because I saw your beginning, how we always ran into each other at ABU teaching hospital during your residency and my antenatal visits??? Or is it because I know the sacrifices you made as a healthcare worker??? Or because you were so nice, playful and lovable by all???. Maybe it’s because of the loved ones (wife, kids, siblings and friends) you left behind. May God comfort your family and may He continue to provide for them. Rest In Peace Dr Esa. There is time to be born, and a time to die Ecl. 3:1-8
My memories on how we met are quite vivid. It was the year 1995-96. The passion for academic excellence and eventually to become Doctors brought us together in the great citadel of learning,ABU Zaria.
It did not take long before we developed a deep friendship. A lot of people would rather think of us as a brothers. Our deep friendship was rooted on our common drive for excellence and a shared ambition to develop our abilities to be able to influence humanity by way of health delivery and ultimately to engage in politics and contribute in any way we can to the political and economic emancipation of our fatherland. We were determined to positively make an indelible mark in the sands of time in our immediate community and the wider Nigeria. We read, played and cried together through what we call the sojourn in ABU for nearly 8 years.
