A Virtual Celebration of Life was held on January 10, 2021. If you were unable to attend there is a recording available below. This recording will be available until about February 10, 2021.
There were some technical difficulties - one being we (Mark and Sue) were not able to be on video. I forgot to explain that the day of the service. We had several people who were not able to speak because of technical problems. - we hope that they will feel free to leave their thoughts here. We are checking often.
Thank you for contributing to this lasting memorial.

We were living in Florida when Sue brought Bob to visit. Happy days then, when Bob and my Dad were healthy and getting along so well. When was that, Sue? 2011? David and I were still living with Mom and Dad then, so it was before 2012, for sure, or if then early 2012. We moved in May.
What a lovely visit we had. Dad was so excited to connect with Bob and to share stories. Bob was 10 years older than Dad, so it is likely they didn't remember much about each other. The visit changed that. They talked about how Bob's older brother, Dex, was named for Great Grandpa, and that was something that impressed my Dad very much.
In 2014, we had a family reunion back in Dayton. Our Dexter and Swan cousins were located - as much as we could. Date set, and along comes Bob again. The photo is of Bob, my dad Ron Dexter and my mother Karen (Rutherford) Dexter.
Until we meet again, cousin. Cheers to you, and God bless you for your service to our country and humanity. Much love,

Remember watching the kids on the wind surfer by the hour! Mr and Mrs Cooper were always so soft spoken and kind..never ever complained about noise coming from our girls! We loved your cabin..and in
your absence we’d walk over to check your home (and peeked in the windows) to be sure everything was ok...always loved that unfinished puzzle sitting there...Including a couple photos of our favorite memories on West Twin.. less
