Gene was born in November 1969 in Portland, Oregon to Marsha and Howard Waldrupe. He was the oldest and only son of the 3 children. He moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin after his parents divorce.
There he lived on his Grandparents dairy farm. Every morning he had to help grandpa milk all the cows before he'd head off to school. Gene use to tell me how he'd fall asleep leaning on the cow that he was suppose to be milking. Granpa did what any grandpa milking a cow would, by squirting the milk from the cow that he was milking, and Gene would wake right up. Gene said him and his sister would ride suzie a cow they would end up called her Tablemeat cause that what she ended up being.
Gene was a loyal, dependable and very hard worker which I believe he learn all those qualities from being raised on a farm. There was no one that worked harder than Gene.
As a father well lets just say that his daughters loved him to the moon and back. He was always there for them from birth to the day he died. Teaching, guiding, listening, and creating memories.
As my partner for 28 plus years we went through are ups and downs, we laughed, cried, and loved each other through it all.
You couldn't ask for a better friend.. Know matter what time it was, what the weather was like, or if he had just gotten off work if you called and asked for his help he was there with no questions asked.
Gene was a patient, open hearted, thoughtful, caring, adventurest man who loved the outdoors, going fast in anything with wheels, and spending time with his family. Gene had a huge family 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation cousins to give you a little idea of just how big his family is.
Mr. Gene Waldrupe will be greatly miss, never forgotten and thought of with found memories by all that knew him.
