"ABSURD!", Gerard Bijnsdorp would say right now. Gerard, also known as the Unpaid Advisor, passed away on September 16th at the age of 77 years.

Most remember Gerard as an eccentric teacher, unapologetic political commentator, or committed salsa dancer. His wife, daughters, family, friends, and dog Coco will miss him dearly.

During these absurd times, we will not be hosting a funeral. We would be very thankful if you share your memories, stories, photos or videos about Gerard.

We kindly ask that instead of sending flowers, you donate to a social cause. Our suggestions are the White and Yellow Cross Care Foundation, who took great care of Gerard during his last few weeks. Or Animal Defenders, because Gerard loved dolphins and getting in the way of crooked political plans.
