I’ve just begun looking through the hundreds of emails that we’ve exchanged over the years - it will take me days. A treasure trove of stories, humor, family history & reports, photos of beautiful places & art, political concerns, and her wisdom. My memories go back to visits at parents Joe and Julia Efram’s house including seders.
Just one of Gloria's emails to me about those days: "I remember those days so well and how your parents were together was quite a love story, Your grandmothers, too, were so special. Fanny was one of the sweetest women I ever met and your mother was just like her. No wonder you're a special person. You were raised with vast amounts of warmth and love."
Her warmth and love shines through on all of her brood and everyone who knew her. I loved her so deeply.
