Gregory Allen Morgan, AKA FrostG1anT, passed away suddenly on July 12, 2021. He was a strong, kind, gentle mountain of a man.
Greg loved photography, music, good food, craft beer, geocaching and people. There was no such thing as a stranger; every human was a good friend he had yet to meet. If you ever spent just an hour with him you were already connected on Facebook and in every other way possible.
Greg was not a saint. He was opinionated, stubborn and frustrating at times. He was a jack of many trades and could be bull-headed on how things should go. If you disagreed he would get it out and choose to let go of the experience and anger. The friendship could easily move on.
Greg spent the last 25 years with the love of his life, Penny. They struggled together, laughed together, fought together, played together, literally shoveled shit together and had amazing adventures, mostly led by Greg. The hole he leaves by his absence in Penny’s life, and countless others, can never be filled.
Greg was a storyteller. He loved to share his adventures and life experiences with anyone who would listen. If you found yourself in an uncomfortable situation he would distract you with this tale or that and before you knew it, the task at hand was complete and you now had a story to share of his kindness and support.
Greg was unbelievably generous. If someone was in need he would drop whatever he was doing and come to your aid. From possible home intruders to support when losing a loved one to carrying groceries in from the car. Or how about remodeling a bathroom, moving across states, building a deck or shoveling horse shit. Greg was a willing helping hand. Eager to ease a burden.
We seriously wonder if he knew how many lives he changed with his larger than life presence and kindness. Every person was beautiful and valued and encouraged to find inner strength and confidence.
Greg, your size-14 shoes and physical being will be immensely missed.
