At the end of this pandemic, we will be planning a celebration of two amazing lives, Heliodoro and Danny. We plan to invite our family and friends, as both of our loved ones were loved by so many.
The date posted is not set, but only a notice of our family's intentions to follow up with a future gathering. Once a date is determined, and it is safe to gather again, we will reach out to all family and friends.
The funeral procession to Calvary Cemetery in East Los Angeles will immediately follow the 10am mass. The estimated time of arrival from St. Thomas More Church to Calvary is approximately 11am.
To include family and friends virtually, we will resume the same Zoom meeting ID from the 10am mass once the gravesite blessings commence.
Due to Covid-19, the number of attendees allowed will be limited. The church has advised that should there not be enough seats available, guests may view the mass from their cars, then join us for the procession to the cemetery immediately following the mass. There will be no limit to the number of attendees allowed at the cemetery.
We would love for family and friends to join us on this day to honor our beloved, Heliodoro and Daniel. They were loved by so many. If you cannot attend in-person services, please join us virtually via Zoom. ✞

Rough on the exterior, you were a sweetheart to those you opened your heart to. I have learned so much from you, but the greatest life lessons you have taught me, my dear brother, are loyalty and unconditional love. You have always been there for me, even when you were away. I’m still waiting for your next always unannounced visit to my house, just to say hi. I look at my back door and just wish to see you there knocking and waving at me with a big smile on your face, as you always had when you came over. My girls love you so much, their Uncle Danny. We forever will love you and cherish all the happy times we shared with you. I miss you and love you so much, big brother. My angel in heaven. ♡︎♡︎♡︎♡︎ less

When I see this picture I remember the great conversations we always shared, and the many life stories you openly told. Thank you for being such a great listener and always hearing every single word I spoke. Thank you for the advice you always offered, and your true loving and caring nature. Thank you for being a great dad and friend, and for sharing with the world your infectious smile and great sense of humor. Thank you for loving me so much and the many sacrifices you and mom gave to raise me in becoming the person I am today. My girls love you Papa, with all their hearts. They were your little girls and you gave them the love that only a loving, happy and proud grandpa could offer. Thank you, Papa, for being you and giving me the honor of being your only daughter. My heart hurts, but I will heal because YOU have always taught me to be strong. But for now, I will cry, and I will hurt, but I will be okay. I will always love you and miss you SO SO much. ♡︎♡︎♡︎♡︎ less

I have always kept you hi in my heart. I was a little boy when Papa Lino went home to god. You and Tia Olivia keeped us Close together to help us understand where he went. Your faith was implanted in Chris and I. As a grown man I know where you have gone. Funny story, I have a great theory about why I love my truck so much. It reminds me of you and your Jeep you had in the garage collecting dust. I guess I got it from you.except I drive my dust truck. I remember playing basket ball in your back yard when we had carne asadas, and you and Tio Tony singing some outrageous songs you two made up after a certain amount of beers. I think back and those were the greatest hits of all times. I also know why I am a musician at heart. Your Singing made everyone’s day happier. You are with the lord nw. I will miss you but I will never forget you. Douglas Jr. less
