OBITUARY
Hilda lived in Charlotte, North Carolina, Gaffney, South Carolina, and Naples, Florida as well as in Prince George's County, Maryland since 1983. She was a dedicated nurse and anesthetist in her work life and the parent of several children, including John Jenkins, Myrna Jenkins, and Jon Mason Nichol. She was also a foster parent. Hilda lived in Charlotte, North Carolina, Gaffney, South Carolina, and Naples, Florida as well as in Prince George's County, Maryland since 1983. She was a dedicated nurse and anesthetist in her work life and the parent of several children, including John Jenkins, Myrna Jenkins, and Jon Mason Nichol. She was also a foster parent. Hilda was a long time member of St. George's Episcopal Church, Glenn Dale, MD, joining the parish circa 1984. She served on two search committees, the Chapel Committee, coordinated the Prayer Chain for a number of years, and did countless other things at St. George's as a faithful and dedicated member, including the three-year Education for Ministry program. She was close to Sis Harvey and Addie and Ben Miller, among others. Hilda was known for her Carolina drawl, dry wit, incredible faith, strong prayer life, facility with Words with Friends and crossword puzzles, and her loving and caring presence.
