Janice was born to William Wilkinson, and Betty Wilkinson, November 16, 1944 in Chicago Illinois. She worked as a missionary in Seoul Korea from 1971 until 1984, lived in upstate New York, Elicott City, Maryland and later in Northwest Arkansas.
She attended Moody Bible Institute. She also volunteered at the Women’s Prison Ministry through Chapelgate Church in Ellicott City, MD. She is survived by three children: Rich Keel (Nicole Keel), Jennifer Keel Long (Jonathan Long), and Gretchen Flynn (Jaime Flynn) and was reunited with her late son, Trevor Keel at the gates of heaven. She also is survived by five grandchildren.
Janice was a follower of Jesus Christ and although she endured many, many trials, setbacks, illnesses and hardships, she was steadfast, never losing sight of her faith in her Lord and Savior (James 1:12). Her strong faith was a model and inspiration to her friends and family, and is a treasured part of her powerful testimony and legacy. Quick to laugh, especially at herself, Janice was a joy to those around her and in humility counted others more significant than herself (Phil 2:3), putting their needs ahead of her own. She threw off everything than hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. She ran her race with perseverance and fixed her eye on Jesus (Hebrews 12:1-3). She was a precious soul, and is dearly missed.
