On Tuesday, November 1, 2022, Jesus "Zeus" Macias passed away one week shy of his 89th birthday.  Zeus Macias was born to Jesus and Consuelo Macias, November 13,1933.  He attended University High School in Los Angeles, and graduated college from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

After serving in the Army, he went on to have a very successful career with Allstate Insurance, winning numerous sales awards which led him and his wife to enjoy many trips around the world.

After years of living in Palos Verdes, Zeus and Carol retired to the golf courses in Tuscon.  However, they soon returned to the South Bay to be closer to their family which included newly born grandchildren. 

Zeus leaves behind Carol, his loving wife of 52 years, his daughter Cynthia Meidroth (Greg) of Manhattan Beach, his son Brian Macias (Danielle) of New Orleans, his grandsons, Chase and Connor, his sisters, Mary, Bengie, Margie, Mercedes and brother Frank. Along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Zeus worked hard and played hard. His love of dancing, Dodgers, Lakers, UCLA, Mariachi, were only topped by his love for family and family events especially summer vacations in Rosarito Beach.
