Jesus Lopez was born on December 24, 1945 in Tuspan, Nayarit, Mexico. At the age of two he and his family moved back to their home town of Ameca, Jalisco where he was raised with his younger sister. At a young age he began to work with his father, Felix Lopez in the sugar cane fields. In 1969 at the age of 24 he migrated to Colton, California. Where he lived with an aunt and her family. Upon arrival in the United States he began to work in agricultural. He worked as campesino culticating and picking a verity of vegetables and fruits. Around 1972, he left the fields and began to work at an Orange plant where he worked as a packer. It was around this same time when he met the love of his life, and future wife, Graciela Diaz. In 1975, he and his new bride, bought a home in San Bernardino, CA. There the two of them built a life together. In 1982, he and Graciela had their first child, followed by their second in 1983, and their third and final child in 1985. He continued to work hard to provide and raise his three children in multiple industries. He was always a hard worker and learned many different trades throughout his life.
Jesus, always strived to provide a better life to his children but no matter how hard things got he always maintained a fun loving positive attitude about life. As a father he was stern but loving.
Jesus, was not only a great father to his own children. As an uncle he was impeccable. He help guide all of his nieces and nephews and was always present in their lives; so much in fact that he was more than just an uncle but a father figure. Someone who they could all go to for anything at any time.
To his sister he was the best big brother a girl could have. At a young age he risked his life saving her from drowning in a local river. He and his only sister were best friends as children and remained that way their entire lives.
As a grandfather he was caring and loving; and as a person Jesus, was a fun loving always a smile. He was quit witted and always had a joke or a smart remark. He was the life of the party! He welcomed everyone into his life and everyone who had the opportunity to know him loved instantly and is missed by us all.
He leaves behind his 3 children; Graciela Blanco, Jesus Lopez Jr. and Henry Lopez. 5 grandchildren; Cynthia, Ashley, Denise, Adrian and a soon to come baby boy. A son in law Jorge Blanco; a sister, Teresa Martin and reunites with his parents, Felix and Josefina Lopez and his wife Graciela Lopez in Heaven.
