I am just stunned hearing this news. Prayers for her and her family. She was always pleasant on the phone when my expense reports were a bit behind/ late and my stress levels elevated. Firm, yet respectful in everyway.

Joyce had been with Apex for six years. Her dedication contributed to many last minute check requests being satisfied and credit limits being extended at all hours to support our teams working under difficult conditions. Joyce diligence didn’t waiver during the COVID-19 either, check runs continued despite closed offices, she housed the check printing machine in her house, often stuffing and mailing all the checks herself while falling asleep to the clip of checks printing. It is no surprise that I have specifically received several very favorable emails remarking on Joyce’s performance, including the one below just last week.
“I just wanted to take a moment and let you know how awesome Joyce Wilcox has been as we continue to execute all of these emergency responses. She has been incredibly responsive – including weekends!
Very much appreciated.”
For those of you who worked with Joyce more closely I understand you lost not just a coworker, but a friend. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and her family. We will share any services or arrangement as they are available
It will be difficult to find an individual with the same level of commitment, but Julie, Fred and I will be working on interim solutions to ensure there are not any disruptions. However, I do ask for your patience as we work through those details. If there are any immediate emergencies please direct your requests to Fred or I.
