Justin Davidson, 38, passed unexpectedly on January 29th. His presence is sorely missed and his loss is deeply felt as he was a gift to everyone who knew him.
Born on August 15th, 1983 to loving parents Wilds Davidson & Cynthia Lippert, he immediately filled the lives of those around him with laughter and joy.
Justin loved life. He was passionate about living his to the fullest, experiencing, understanding, and empathizing with all walks of it, and positively impacting as many as he could.
He graduated from Centennial High School in 2001 in Alpharetta, Georgia and went on to pursue a degree in Economics & minor in Spanish from the University of Georgia. After college, Justin spent 13 years with Accenture leading multiple energy and utilities projects, including pro bono work, with Save the Children, that took him all over the world and impacted him and his motivations profoundly. He earned his MBA from Northwestern University in 2012. Justin was passionate about improving the lives of children and finding viable and profitable clean energy solutions, volunteering his time as a board member for Junior Achievement.
In 2003, Justin met the love of his life, Julia at UGA, and spent the next 19 amazing years together, filled with enough laughter and love to last a lifetime. He also loved his dog and soulmate, Mo, his family, relationships, music, food, travel, community, UGA football, the Atlanta Braves...and had a strong tolerance for Wendy, the 'just ok' cat.
Warm, inviting, hilarious, beautiful, kind, generous, curious, and compassionate, Justin made everyone around him feel special and cared for.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Davidson, grandmother, Julie Dekle, mother, Cynthia Lippert, father, Wilds Davidson, step-father, John Lippert, brothers, Michael Davidson and Brent Davidson, sisters, Sarah Davidson and Madison Lippert, step-sisters, Allyson Letteri, Hilary Linder, and Bryn Huegerich.
