Justin Phillip Booth was born on August 27th, 1988 in Worcester, Massachusetts. He moved to St.Petersburg, Florida, when he was 4 years old. He attended Woodlawn Elementary school, Meadowlawn Middle School, and North East High School.
From an early age Justin fell in love with hockey. Whether it be watching it with his Father, playing street hockey with friends, or later in life playing ice hockey with the Tampa Bay amateur league the Lucky Pucks with his friend Jason Whiting, Justin love all things hockey. His favorite teams were the Tampa Bay Lighting and The Detroit Red Wings. Some of his favorite plays included, Wayne Gretzky, Martin St, Louis and Gordie Howe.
Justin was also artistically talented. He was able to draw and paint from a very early age. As he got older, he started to do body painting with his friends Cindy Linville and Nicole Haverberg.
The thing Justin loved most, above all else, may have been music. In a message to a friend recently, he said, “It's funny that even as a blind little Booth I still knew to gravitate to the truest form of expressive performance”. He was a talented composer and a very gifted singer. He recorded his own music in his spare time, and released an album entitled, ”Songs to Fall Asleep To” on Bandcamp under his band name Lyur. He under took an ambitious project recording another album in St. Augustine, but many of those files were lost when his computer got a virus. Some of the songs still existed, and he released a demo called, "The Sasha Sessions". He also composed the sound track for a shirt film titled, “The Nightmareman” by director Jaret Von Jekyll.
