Meet outside of the Friendship Garden and Japanese Tea House at NOON. We pushed back the start time, but please try to be on time as the memorial will be starting at NOON sharp.
We will be starting with a few words from those who would like to speak.
Please bring words to share, stories about Kai that would show his lovely character, etc.
--
There have been a few changes from a previous version of plans.
To review:
1) Start time pushed to noon
2) Park meeting location shifted
3) Video coverage of the event will now be edited and posted afterward instead of streaming live (please use bit.ly/KaiRSVP for video link requests)
4) There will NOT be a balloon release
5) Any additional funds will be donated to Trans Lifeline which is a non-profit run by and for trans people, offering direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis.
FUNDS WILL BE USED FOR
Funeral Expenses & Charity donation.
We're collecting funds to help cover the costs of the memorial. Any additional funds raised will be donated to an organization that provides mental health services to queer and trans individuals.
