Loving daughter, sister, aunt and niece
Laura Marie Ward, 39, passed away on Monday December 6th, 2021. She was the beloved daughter of Robert and Kathy Ward.
Laura was born in Lowell on July 17th 1982. She attended Lowell Public Schools and graduated from Greater Lowell Regional Vocational Technical High School in 2001.
Her love of music, singing and animals began when she was just a young child and continued throughout her life. She constantly had music playing and could always be heard singing along loudly! Laura adored animals, whether furry, feathered or with scales, and wanted to adopt them all. Laura was a true Disney fan, loving all Disney movies and family trips to Disney World. Laura enjoyed a good sunset and took pleasure in the beauty of nature wherever she went, an appreciation that was given to her by her grandparents.
Laura found true joy in singing and had recently joined a choir to continue with her passion. She always loved unconditionally, no matter what. Laura especially loved her nephews, Garrett, Myles, Cormac and her new baby niece, Ilora. She was a sweet, sassy and kind soul who enjoyed a good silly joke, time with her sisters and family, and the children in her life.
In addition to her parents, Laura is survived by her partner, Charles Bielitz of Prudence Island, RI, grandmother, Geraldine Ward, of Bellows Falls VT, her sister, Melissa Ward and partner, Mark Vigeant of Tyngsborough, her sister, Stacey Roy, and partner, Devon Thompson, of Lowell and her sister, Elizabeth Perry, of Watervliet, NY. She leaves behind her beloved nephews and niece, Garrett Piper, Myles Koller, Cormac Perry, and Ilora Thompson. She will also be truly missed by her many aunts, uncles and cousins. Laura was predeceased by her grandparents, Frank and Alice Roy, her special Papa, Robert Ward, her Aunt Lisa Roy, and everyone's favorite aunt, Auntie Alice.
Services will be held at a later date.
