Liam was Emily and Hakan’s third child, their second son, and the beloved brother of Hanna, Simon, and Mika. Liam was a unique and kind-hearted person, and a true artist at heart, always seeing art and beauty in whatever he looked at. He drew and painted and created other things throughout his life, starting early as a young boy and continuing his whole life.
Liam was reserved; he didn’t always speak a lot, but when he did, he was genuine, and his words were witty and on-point. He observed life like a poet, watching kindly and when at last he spoke about something he cut to the heart of the matter, in his own special way that made you think. He had a sparkle in his eye, like he knew something true. Liam always had a special connection with animals. While living in Sweden, his cat Ginger was his companion.
San Francisco was Liam’s home. At school, teachers loved Liam. He was a joy to teach, since he loved to learn. He had many friends, and was very popular. Always a charmer. He loved his friends, getting together as often as possible, for a group wrestle on the trampoline, or the Tasting game led by him, feeding his friends the hottest and most fermented things he could find in the fridge.
He was a trickster for sure! Also a gentle soul, and a peaceful person who tried hard to navigate the difficulties of life for the short twenty-five years of his life. Liam was loved dearly by his family, his friends, and really all that came into contact with him.
