Lori was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend and will be dearly missed. She was an incredible psychotherapist, always seeking to guide those around her through the dark moments in their lives. She was full of joy and brought so much laughter into the lives of those who knew her. She also had a deep love for mother nature and spent much of her free time outdoors, hiking, gardening, or riding horses. In keeping with this love of the outdoors, she asked that her ashes be scattered at the Glen Forest Memorial Cemetery Memorial Scattering Garden in Yellow Springs so that she could be among the wildflowers.
Please help honor her life and her memory with a gift to one of these organizations that were meaningful to Lori. We hope this will be a way to continue spreading all of the love and light she brought into our lives.

As I reflect on what made Lori such a unique and precious friend, I think about her smile and laugh, her sheer delight in things big and small, her genuinely warm and welcoming spirit. Her perspective was always thoughtful and interesting, generally broader than my own. She didn’t seek the spotlight. She had a quiet way of exuding excellence. Her light was bright for whoever was fortunate enough to cross her path. She was so compassionate. While not actively teaching, we learned so much from her: a slightly different twist on things, how to live in harmony with our environment and how to be in relationship with others. She had such a wise presence. She once gave me a laughing Buddha – I came to see it as the quintessence of her.
Thanks for creating this, Blaire, and sincere condolences to all your family. I'm very sorry to hear of your loss; am contributing to Dayton Hospice in Lori's memory. With sympathy, Barton
