Always putting others' needs ahead of her own and always there to save the day, especially in her children's lives. She is survived by her loving Husband of 36 years, David, her brothers and sisters, Penny, Patti, Bruce, and her two children, Shea and Tyler. Lynn passed away in the comfort of her home, where she had lived and raised her children, in Parkland County, AB. She loved gardening, cooking, rearranging furniture and was a tremendous card player, mastering more than just the basics of go-fish, she would routinely take the cake for highest word score in scrabble, and was known to play a mean hand of cribbage at a moments notice. Cooking in her household was a family affair and guests were always welcome to watch and revel in the dance that was the making of a meal in the Lalonde household. She will be dearly missed by all of her many friends and family.

Over the years we enjoyed immensely our visits to spruce Grove...
Especially the delicious meals cooked up by Lynn and David,,,often featuring their yummy tomato soup, apple sauce and pumpkin pie...mostly made from their own garden.
We shall dearly miss our lovely Lynn...but shall hold in our hearts and minds...fond memories of good times spent with her and her busy family. less

Lynn had a way of gazing inward while remaining connected. I always wondered what she dreamt about when her eyes would lock and get caught in an inward stare. All I know is that I still felt included, regardless of where she went.

I recal this neighbourhood party 6 years ago.
She loved her friends and celebrated well with them. I know they'll miss her apple pies and her massive contribution to the community. less

With so many plans lined up and not enough hands, Lynn stepped in the day of our wedding and did it all. To this day, patrons of our party will say, "of course, I remember your auntie!". She tied, re-tied, ironed, lugged, folded, made...basically took the reins and helped us create a most magical space with ease and that classic Lynn smile. Without a doubt, she knew how to make a difference* less
