Michael G. McAneney, 57, of Clyde, died unexpectedly on Monday, June 24, 2019.
Mike was born on Dec. 8, 1961, in Concord, CA. and was a lifelong area resident, living the past 27 years in Clyde. Mike worked as a flooring contractor for 30 years and was truly a master of the trade. He enjoyed playing softball and bocce ball for many years with both family and friends, but his greatest joy was being a father to Zack and Zoe. Mike had a great sense of humor and was always willing to lend a hand, he will be missed dearly.
Mike is survived by his two children, Zackery Michael and Zoe Marilyn McAneney, Concord; his mother, Joan Morgan, Clyde; one sister, Susan Pucci and husband, Stephen, Brentwood; three brothers, Edward McAneney and partner Gaye, Suisun, William McAneney and wife Shari, Clyde, and Gerald McAneney and wife, Cindy, Tracy; three nephews, Andy, Kyle, and Ryan McAneney, and four nieces, Amanda McAneney, Amy Jo Silva, Dannielle Gates, and Shannon Thomas; and his former wife Rae Piedmonte. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Joseph McAneney.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 pm, Saturday, July 27th at the Clyde Community Center.
