Morag Alexina Grinyer (née Scott) passed away peacefully on 22 April, 2024, aged 84, in Worthing, West Sussex.
Morag, the daughter of Sir Angus and Lady Joyce Scott, grew up in Tobermory, Isle of Mull. Morag lived her adult life in West Sussex, where she completed her education, qualified as a legal executive, met her husband and raised a family.
However, her heart was always on Mull, and she visited often, and retired to the island after the passing of her husband, Dennis, in 2010. Morag was an active member of the Tobermory community and regular volunteer at the Mull Museum.
Morag will be greatly missed by her two sons, James and John, and grandchildren Alexandar and Anastasia.
Funeral to be held on 15 May at Worthing Crematorium at 12.30pm. A memorial service in Tobermory is planned for later in the year.
