Clark, Myron Anderson: January 4th, 1949–December 22, 2021. Myron "Ron" Anderson Clark was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, and grew up in the nearby towns of Acton and Bedford. He graduated from Bedford high in 1966, Williams College in 1970, and with a JD from the University of Denver in 1974.
As an attorney, Ron dedicated his life to providing legal assistance for those often mistreated by the legal system. During his 40+ years in Colorado as a lawyer working for Legal Aid, cities and counties, and in private practice, he represented abused women and children, students with disabilities, nonprofit organizations, and other underserved groups.
He was also a mentor and community leader, employing unhoused community members and wayward teenagers alike at the bicycle shop he owned in Castle Rock. He also served as a City Council Member for the city of Castle Pines, CO, and volunteered on local congressional campaigns.
Ron was an award-winning triathlete and biker into his late fifties, and he also loved to travel with his family to Mexico, Europe, around the United States, and on sailing trips through the Caribbean. Ron was also musically inclined, performing in musicals with the Denver Law Club, and singing at home with his children.
He is survived by his wife, Lane Hammond, his children, Logan and Anderson Clark, and his siblings, Carolyn and David Clark. Please consider donating to some of Ron's supported causes:
